Signed on the eve of the 05/06 season, Owen Coyle was keen to provide additional options on the left hand side of defence or midfield and moved quickly for the twice capped Macedonian who had spent a season each in Kirkcaldy and Livingston.

A regular in the side throughout the season, he scored his first goal in Scottish league football with a spectacular 35 yard effort against Hamilton in Perth towards the end of October.

His form improved as the season progressed and his contribution was recognised with a couple of supporters awards at the end of the season and he signed on for the 2006/07 campaign during which he proved to be a model of consistency yet again during a memorable season for all connected with the club.

Goran was quick to put pen to paper on a new one-year deal for 2007/08 and opposition defences will again have to cope with his mature, determined work advancing down the left flank.
