PLAYERS LOOK IN FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS
10 JUNE 2008
The close season still has some way to run but there were early signs at McDiarmid Park today that the resumption is not too far away.
The majority of the squad reported for the first of two successive days of light duty which saw them take part in a fitness run around the North Inch this morning and will see them report to Dundee University for more rigorous fitness testing tomorrow.
Manager Derek McInnes told the Saints Official Website this morning, “There are four or five guys away on holiday at the moment but the rest are here for a couple of days just to keep them ticking over and to monitor their fitness. All the players look after themselves well in the close season these days, they are very responsible but it does them no harm just to get together for a couple of days.”

Supporters are reminded that they have until the end of June to take advantage of cheaper prices for certain categories of Season Tickets.
Posters advertising the 08/09 season tickets are still available to supporters who have a public place to display them to raise the profile of the club. If you can help please e-mail paul@stjohnstonefc.co.uk and we will send you one.
